Amphibia Marine provide a range of services specially formulated for controlling water and air quality on board shipping vessels across the world.

Many of our marine hygiene services are exclusive to Amphibia. This includes our innovative disinfection process for cold water storage tanks and pipework distribution systems. Our method for eradicating micro-organsisms was pioneered by our consultants to ensure water systems can be disinfected quickly with minimal down time and disruption to the crew and other contractors on board. There is far less water wastage, (particularly important at the dock side where water is often metered). In fact, our expertise can help save up to 2000 tonnes of water per project.

To determine the potential risk of Legionnaires’ disease on board a vessel.

Investigative surveys
To determine the cause of specific water or air quality problems.

Hygiene management programmes
Vessel specific programmes to monitor water and air quality on an ongoing basis.

Chemical water treatment
Chemical treatment systems to control water quality.

System cleaning and disinfection
Service to ensure water and air systems (including kitchen extract systems) do not present health or fire risks.

System refurbishment
This includes painting of fresh water tanks to help control corrosion.

Depending on the nature of the work, we can either provide a Marine Hygiene Consultant to supervise your own staff or alternatively, we can mobilise a complete Service Team. All we require is 24 hours notice.
